Nothing works after logging in to Microsoft account

Cant play on servers or with friends after logging in. Having the same problem

with both switches in the house, so I’m sure it’s a Minecraft issue not a nintendo

or Microsoft issue. I go to log in, type in all my passwords, Microsoft says it’s 

logged in and ready, but nothing happens.
