Multi-player issues

We own 4 iPad minis and downloaded the new version today and it doesn't work in multi-player mode. We can't connect to one another's servers, nor can we stay connected for longer than a few minutes if we ever get connected at all. Our network is good and we were all playing the previous version earlier today just fine before the update.
