Game crashes when teleporting to the nether when dog follows you.

I have tested this on two of my worlds, now I am not sure if it is just be on PC or if its affecting other people. What happens is if I have my dog or dogs follow me while teleporting into the nether my game will crash and something happens when teleporting back into the overworld. A workaround I've found is if they are sitting the game wont crash.
