When I join into a server and a write something in the chat, no one can read that

I was playing with friends in the server lifeboat, in survival mode. I was chating with them and later they said that they cant read my messeges. I can read their messeges but they cant read mine. 

I dont know if im baned or something like that. PLS HELP
