Cursor disappearing in split screen 3 or 4 players

when opening inventory or a chest in split screen the cursor disappears which is very frustrating. 2 player split screen is ok, 3 or 4 there is the issue.

 

When 3 players. one inventory open all cursors disappear. when 2 of three have inventory open 3rd players cursor flickers.

 

when 4 players one open 3 flicker, 3 players one flickers, 2 players other two's cursors disappear.

 

makes game very frustrating to play.
