invisible paintings

Playing minecraft creative on the xbox and i go to place a painting and it's invisible. all the paintings i have placed previously in that world are invisible as well. i can still interact with them and delete them but i can't actually see them. i don't believe i did anything to produce this bug. i just logged on and now they're invisible.
