Big problems with signs!

When I make a sign, I can no longer make colored text. Before the last version you could do this with §

{colorID}

. The new update should apparently go with color. However, neither of these works. I can only do §k, §o and §l (small L). Everything else doesn't work. However, it is very important for my future server
