Lag in 1.16.220

In version 1.16.210, I was able to get over 60 fps at max render distance. I updated to 1.16.220, and now I get 40-50 fps at 8 chunk render distance. I updated my graphics drivers to see if that would help, and there was no improvement. I don't have lag in any other games. My pc specs are as follows:

i5 10300h

gtx 1660 ti

16gb ram

512 gb ssd
