Pictures cannot be taken away, only one map it isn't working

I am not sure how to create a support ticket for an iPad but my seed is 331, a snow biome I googled; I started the map in creative mode built a large house with lots of pictures and had no problem using the picture to take them away or the empty bucket. I switched to survival, did a few things and wanted to see what would transfer back, now I can't take pictures away unless I destroy the blocks behind it. They linger for a few seconds then disappear. I also tried re-switching it back to survival and attempted to put up and take down a painting, still would not go away unless I destroyed the blocks behind it.

None of my other maps; survival and creative are having this problem but this map 331 is my only snow biome and I notice when it is snowing blocks take a few seconds to appear when placed. I'm not sure if there is a connection between the delay snowfall causes and my inability to remove pictures but I figured it was worth it to note. Thank you!
