multiplayer bug

so basically, i can play minecraft bedrock when im alone in my world and when i play in the servers but when i want to join my friend or they want to join me, it says ”Could not connect: Outdated server!” (to see in the photo)  it has been doing this since the new update. someone pls help me because i can not join my friends in their world
