Inventory Disappeared (Minecraft PE)

Today, I went to into my phone and went through a little mining in my world and I decided, I wanted to eat, so I ate and then when I went back to my Minecraft world, all my items were gone in my inventory! I didn't die, I didn't drop my items and it despawning, none of those happened, it just disappeared from my inventory. This rarely happens and I researched it and some people experienced this bug too.
