Growing Mega Spruce Taiga trees doesn't replace rooted dirt base into podzol block

The Bug
When you grow a Mega Taiga tree on rooted dirt, it doesn't replace it with podzol. Instead, it just stays there. This isn't in parity with Java Edition.
