Axolotls behave strange

Axolotls behave strangely when in the water, I have noticed that they stay paralyzed / still very often without doing anything.
If it is an intentional behavior, I consider that they do it very often.
They should be constantly swimming like they do in java, without getting stuck doing nothing.
