Impossible to interact with world

After a minute or so, I can't interact with my world. Chuks don't load, I can't interact with blocs, restone signals are not emitted, mobs ignore me, I can't open my inventory, and the world never stops the saving process when I save and quit.
Basically, I cannot play? This happens to new and old worlds.
