Won't let me sign in

It appears like I'm signed in but won't let me play multiplayer servers or join a friends world. When i go to profile it has a red exclamation mark that says MY PACKS, sign in to save your purchased games... I try to sign in ad save to Microsoft account but it won't let me. I also wanted to sign out but it won't let me do that either. What can i do?
