Minecraft PE won't open past loading screen

It just gets stuck on the loading page. I tried the following typical troubleshooting methods:

• clearing cache
• clearing data
• uninstalling/installing
• deleting the whole Mojang folder after uninstall

It opens the first time but when I close the app, whenever I try to open it again, it won't. It happens on my Note 20 Ultra a lot. Sometimes on my Nova 3i as well.

I have Minecraft on my Samsung Note 20 Ultra and Huawei Nova 3i. Both phones are mine and have the same Google accounts logged in to them if it helps.
