After destroying a block the block itself wouldn’t drop even after I reset my game.

I loaded into one of my worlds and I wanted to move one of my beacons. When I broke it the block never dropped (with a netherite pick axe of course) I tried to move the rest of the blocks of gold but still none of them has dropped. It still didn’t work after I reset my game or copy the world
