Silverfish with strength gives hearts

This bug won't affect survival minecraft but does affect people like me who make maps. If you use a command block or just a command, and give a silverfish strength 256. When he hits you, you don't take damage. Instead you gain absorption hearts. P.s I do have resistance but I checked and it has no affect on the bug.
