Minecraft windows 10 edition will not launch the vr edition on oculus rift

Minecraft on oculus rift will say have windows 10 version 1809 installed and minecraft installed which I do and then tell me to change the oculus settings to use outside sources which I have and then confirm to play and it just wont boot up vr but it opens minecraft up on my desktop
