The slime block cannot bounce off players below the 0 coordinate

I was practicing mlg skills in Minecraft, I tried to make a hole as deep as the y coordinate 0, and I try to start mlg at y coordinate 320, then I put the slime block under coordinate 0, and I don't get bounced by the slime block
