Cannot drop items in creative

I am not sure if this is intended or not, but I cannot drop items on the ground in creative mode. This is a problem for me becouse I cannot spawn an item in and now I can't even drop them in creative and change to survival. Chest also do not open in creative (made a seperate issue about it)
