playing multiplayer/losing all items

My friend joining my world got items from me, after about an hour of playing he logged out. After about two days he joined again, he logged in at a different location, I thought I had lost those items, unfortunately I showed him my current items as he looked through them, he was disconnected from the session, he logged in again after which I found that he was reborn at the location where he logged out the first time, I told him to log in again but that didn'[t|https://pl.pons.com/t%C5%82umaczenie/angielski-polski/t] help, I lost all my best items.
