Fullscreen Bug - cannot join multiplayer

When on fullscreen, if you leave the Minecraft window (even for milliseconds) it takes some time to reload. I figured out it's to reduce RAM usage, but, once you rejoin, multiplayer games are no longer visible or say "Unable to connect to world". Sometimes, it might happen to servers too, reading "Unable to connect to world" again.
