My skins keep getting removed even though Im on my own world

my skins keep turning off whenever I open my game and Ive been playing this game for years and it's never happened. I just want to use my skins and Its ok if you cant get this fixed maybe its just my game because my laptop is old but I would like for it to keep the skin i was wearing on instead of making me put it on after opening my game. Yes i have an account and I dont delete the game ever. Thank you
