Switch frozen after closing Minecraft

After closing Minecraft, there was the regular closing software pop-up screen - but it got stuck midway through. Now my Switch is frozen and I can't turn it off; though the power save feature that puts the console into sleep mode works but you can still see the pop-up

 

Update: You can hold down the power button for 12 seconds to reboot the Switch. Forgot to update this late week
