Getting killed by an invisible thing with no name tag

I was playing in sky block and I was in the nether and all of a sudden somebody invisible with no name tag started killing me and I jumped off the world. I would appreciate you looking into this as It did not seem safe. Thanks. I look forward to hearing from you,
