join realm button missing

my friends recently joined a realm and i wanted to join, i have a microsoft account and im signed in, i play on windows 10 edition on my pc, i can join my friends worlds just fine, but there isnt a button for join realm. it says joinable realms, which there isnt any, but no join realm button, anyone?
