Numbers do not appear on other players screen in the chat

Discovered this while playing on realm: when typing numbers into the chat, none of the other players can see them. Besides the player who posted it, making it very difficult to communicate coordinates. The attached image is from the perspective of a different players chat. Me talking to them.
