My Minecraft crashes everytime I open it since I bought it

I downloaded Minecraft on my iPhone 8 a year ago and it hasn’t worked once, everytime I open the app it crashes. I’ve tried factory resetting my phone, redownload Minecraft, deleted 7 GB worth of data on my phone. I have no idea what to do anymore. The game says it’s compatible with my phone.
