Unable to connect: Outdated Server - Nintendo Switch

After getting a Minecraft update on March 9, 2021, I am no longer able to connect with Cross Platform friends using my Nintendo Switch.  My Switch is currently on Version 1.16.210.  I have deleted the software and reloaded the software and still get the same message of Unable to Connect:  Outdated Server.  I also checked for software updates on the Switch and it says that I am using the most current version.  What do I need to do to connect to my cross-platform friends?

THIS ISSUE SHOULD HAVE BEEN SET UP IN MINECRAFT (BEDROCK CODEBASE).  I HAVE CREATED A NEW ISSUE IN THAT AREA.  THIS TICKET (MC-219226) SHOULD BE CANCELLED.
