I'm able to still walk through half slabs as if they weren't there. And now with the new update I'm am getting glitched in the walls when shulkers make me float

I have always been able to walk through half slabs and stair blocks and now I'm able to get stuck halfway between the blocks when floating. I'm not taking hit damage all the time but if I get stuck in the blocks I do end up taking damage..this is making survival mode on my Realm extremely difficult and annoying. Please fix
