I cant join my friends

When I tried to join my friend's worlds it would tell me "unable to connect to world" everytime I tried. I tried to search on YouTube how to fix this problem but nothing seems to help I even uninstall and reinstall the game sometimes it works but I'm not doing that everytime to a sometimes.
