Inventory and Enderchest items gone missing

My friend logged into my world that I personally host on the ps4. I have everything but he does not. His inventory is empty and so is his ender chest. Ever since the new update from yesterday everything is gone. I hope you can fix this because he’s worked so hard on his items and has over a stack of diamonds that were in his ender chest and refuses to start over.
