Windows 10 edition chat glitch

When pressing "T" to chat, it opens up the chat box with "t" already typed, this is REALLY annoying as I have to press "t" to open up chat, then backspace to remove the "t" that is already typed in the chat box field then type my message. Please fix this bug!
