Minecraft skins not working/loading

I have experienced an annoying glitch in the state of the minecraft skins not loading or working. When I try to create my own skin, I pick hair styles, clothing, etc. It states "Failed to select item". Its very annoying to me because I want to use a skin that's a look-alike to me. If you can please patch this, it will be very appreciated. Thank you!
