Custom Skins Won’t Load/Change

In the newest update, when I go to change my skin, it either turns into Steve or Alex or it stays the same skin I had before. For example, if I change custom skin 1 to custom skin 2, it stays as custom skin 1. If a skin slot is blank, it’ll just turn into Steve or Alex after choosing a skin. It only does this for some skins but not all.
