Cannot craft colored wool from colored wool

You can't color wool by colored wool.
> On win10 the crafting formula for colored wool is restricted to "wool" (i.e. only white wool) left or right of any colored dye.
But coloring sheeps and retrieving their wool via sheers works just fine.
