When entering the Nether from the End the game completely bugs out

I was testing the game when I decided to go to the end. I then (in the End) did /setblock ~ ~ ~  portal which took me to the overworld even though I should have been in the Nether. I was confused as the first time it teleported me nowhere near spawnpoint and 30000 blocks up. I teleported to spawn and realised how when I went to do the setblock command for any block and for the current location it says "block placed" even though it didn't. I went into Survival and tried /kill and it said it had killed me but hadn't. Finally I reloaded into the world and it put me back to the spawnpoint like nothing had happened and everything I did when I was in the glitched state had undone itself such as breaking blocks. Every time I recreated this it happened every time except for the 30000 blocks in the air thing. It seems as if the game was confused as to which dimension I was in. Also the portal that I did /setblock in the End was still there after reloading and going back.

There was no point in screenshotting the bug because nothing looks out of ordinary in a single shot but recording it is very different. Also I haven't tested it on another device but assume it happens on every beta platform.
