if you hold a glass pane in your hand you can see underwater with it in 3rd person

so i was doing a building tutorial and went over to the ocean with a glass pane in my hand and looked through it in 3rd person and saw the coral reef very clearly and also a pirate ship but it was also kind of hard to see becuase you can only see a bit through it
