BTC-Flame My world fails on attempt to open

Getting "my world can't be opened" error on a brand new BTC-Flame, android 4.4 kitkat, downloaded MCPE from both google play store and from Amazon in attempts to get this working as a xmas present.
I realise that this error has occurred on this device previously..but can't find a solution and now especially against a new version 0.13.0
Any advice please..
