Can't Connect To Another User's world

I am trying to connect to a friends world, we are on the same Internet in the same house. I use a switch and my win 10 and they use an Xbox 1 S. Every time I sign in and try to connect to the world it says unable to connect, I have Xbox live and switch online. It worked in my old house but since moving it doesn't connect. the error says Unable to connect to world, i have tried all the fixes out their none help.
