Warping

While playing, game suddenly warped me to the ocean on a boat, off the coast of some land...unknown where. I had last used a boat two days ago. ... (Re-edited to change comments):

So I went back into the game and I'm off some snow covered coast. After a little exploring, I'm not that far off from before the warp.
