Placing Lightning Rods In Liquids Causes Liquids To Unrender

How to reproduce
1. find a body of water (or lava)
2. Place a lightning rod in the liquid, in various different positions

Results
Liquids below the rod will will unrender, allowing you to see through them.

Expected results
They should render as usual
