Skin not loading

Skins not loading in both in-game and in the menu. Default skins occasionally load in-game but cycle through Steve and Alex. Custom skins do not load and when choosing a different skin I have encountered a prompt saying "skin not available in multiplayer" when I haven't picked a different skin.
