Controller Issues

I have 2 controller issues I want to address. First, my controller has 2 buttons MCPE won't pick up. I attached a diagram of my hardware. A and B are the ones with issues. Second, navigating the title screen is a problem. After launching the app, I have to press my Dpad a few times before it highlights anything. And after leaving a world, I can't use it there, I have to tap.
