Massive lag in my existing world: my world size is around 70+MB

My world was created since the old times when the world wasn't infinite, years ago. I never had issues with it until I updated to 13.0. Things started to lag very badly, no matter what visibility distance I selected. HOWEVER, when I downgraded to 12.0, the lag disappears. Please help fix this issue.
