The sun's position is reset when changing gamemodes

When I change the gamemode of a world, the sun goes back to its starting point instead of continuing from the position before I changed the gamemode. This happens when I change my gamemode from survival to creative and vice versa.

For example: Switching from survival to creative at night will make it daytime.

Steps to reproduce:
-Wait till it's night in survival or creative.
-Switch to creative or survival.
It will turn day when it should still be night despite the difference in gamemodes.
