Breaking Blocks Do Not React to Touch Properly

Previously in Minecraft 1.16.201 Bedrock Edition on Android, I can hold down my hand, axe, shovel, etc and still be able to break blocks even when I take my split controls away from it while using split controls. BETA Bedrock, in the video it shows I take my sights away from a block for even a millisecond and it doesn't want to break anymore. Even thought my thumb is fully pressing down on the screen. The probably is only occuring with Beta. Since I had no problem with this in the previous version. I can hold down looking up at the sky and look down and still be able to break blocks. Now, I can't. It's annoying now that I have to constantly tap my phone screen so the game can register my touch again.
