the leaves ain't despawning (caves&cliffs enabled)

i have been building in the shattered savanna with some trees i already cut down like 30 minutes ago and not a single one despawn, i thought that was a bug from the biome itself or the altitude(150+ blocks height) so i tried the other biome and altitude and its still doesn't despawn
