Minecraft prevents people joining when going into Xbox Settings, other apps

For the basic version of Minecraft for Xbox, whenever I go into settings, or in the captures menu to view them, it prevents people from joining and sometimes signs me out of minecraft, I notice this when returning to the game after a few minutes, where it says it has signed me out of my account. Please provide a patch update for Xbox.
